i'm only a player in IGF but i looove wallflower (i'm running it). it definitely needs some additions and revisions, but it's much less work than doing it all from scratch, and the community has a lot better ideas and resources than i do with the additional inclusions

How I feel about running modules is either way when running a game I have a certain amount of work that is provided to that game

Making the game functional is the number 1 priority

A good module makes 90% of that work already complete

And is usually written better than my own mad ramblings that only make sense in my head

I can't recommend the enworks published zeitgeist adventure path enough, ran it in the republished 5e version for two groups over 5 years. Only minor changes, scales well to 20 th level combat ( I mean, 5 hour fight) as a climactic finale and did a denumont! In the material. So you felt a proper ending. . It's on dtrpg. Ryan nock just killed it with the story.

Home station wrecked by kessler syndrome killing both parents, raised by drunk corpo-contract cop uncle who (self harm) ||killed himself with his pistol and let 12 year old Rose find him|| Spending a decade "on the streets" bouncing around the long rim doing what she needed to do to survive, and then found the Faith of the One Plumed in Golden Flame and oh boy did their message about revenge on a cruel universe resonate.

Now she's a cult spy on Hell's Gate infiltrating the SRT.

In the first game she's in, Cruye's remix, She continued to send reports to the cult up until chapter 2 ||where she had to start working with the cult's agents directly to coordinate their efforts. Tarben's murder hurt her a lot, the cult used her intel recklessly and exposed her multiple times though she dodged some of it. The SRT couldn't find the focal array at all in Killer Sound; they already moved it because Rose told them the team was coming. Then the laser charging sequences started, and Rose was hearing all these radio calls about the civilian station falling apart and it got to her. When the cult ambushed the team on the train, they called for her to shoot the SRT in the back. She shot the cult instead. Akram, one of her main contacts/handlers, came on to the field himself, and they had a full on gundam ideological battle to go with the giant robot fight. She took him down, and he didn't get out of his mech before a train came and hit him. ||

Then the cult called her a traitor and every NPC in the fight focused on her. Even after losing her mech she took a (act 2 npc type(remix))||Lodestone|| railgun shot to the chest, but survived. Of course, the team heard everything. She had to come clean while they rolled to the last fight and she patched herself up. The whole of ch2 and that finale was the second most intense roleplaying I ever done.

Bunzi, Forsagia, and Xenguin (one of my players) are doing a narrative rp together where all of our main PCs (Char, Rose, Kat, Calamity) are on the SRT together. Char and Rose are dating, but Rose is very much still a cult spy and it's not going to go well.

Leviathan Mission 4 notes/spoilers: Hit all the major notes that I can recall. ||I cheered when the Rainmaker finally managed to waddle into the hardlight shield on round 5/6. And that's about it for the combat side. And yes despite my crits and two Golden Hand auto-reloads, those engineering checks did feel rigged, the enemies failed their burn save I think once. And most of them were natural 20s with a couple 19s. Like I know they weren't, and why of anything would you rig those rolls, but also the RNG was insane for that one particular thing.||

||Minor but maybe worth noting, we also saw Omnidocument-Format on Amphion doing... something in what we're going to guess is an SSC blacksite. Haven't had time to come to that conclusion in character just yet, given the uh... circumstances. But Mikaela is now on the shortlist of "....hey so can we have a word with you?" after this, along with Ipswitch and Loki.
Maybe also some of the alt-SRT teams we saw just to ask if they have combat mech licenses because uhh we didn't know half of them could pilot at all. But that last point is more character gossip than plot-thread tugging.||

Emotions were high in general in the Character Development Asteroid, lotta brooding, restrained panic, confusion, and of course irritated scepticism from Fritz. I can also proudly claim that Quiliks narrowly won the party vote for "most fucked up" by the experience, narrowly beating out Sam. Honestly a surprise upset with Leo in the party.

||I also have to wonder what would have happened if I had rolled a crit or fumble on Everyone's a Fan at the end. Very bad idea but like... it would be funny tho to luck my way into the equivalent of a Technophile 3 "you are significant" evaluation by Caustic. Alas just a middling roll, not enough to even impact Caustic in the state they are now.||

the flamethrower continues to do work as my mech got hit hard and I kept rolling horribly on good opportunities to hit a proned target (Angela being based off an XCOM character I once had is finally coming around to bite me)

also another player chose to represent the "Warped Warhead" reserve (that Bullet made) as a PvZ Cob Cannon and when it finally got USED I may have used a VTT extension to accompany it with a "SPUDOW!" (yes that's the wrong plant, I never got far enough in PvZ1 as a kid to unlock the cob cannon)

bullet may have also introduced the combat with "Showdown" from Project Wingman and honestly that was pretty based of him
