I believe your daily also gets impacted by spotlight hour spawns, but i could be wrong. it wont last as long as a full incense, but might help you out some in not missing out on whichever one you dont prioritize

Only purify when you know what youre doing. Pokemon like Abra to Alakazam is too glassy to be a shadow, better to purify for hundo Mega. Sableye and Dusclops wants the move 'return' for pvp.

Wait for the Mega to actually release.
We don't know when it will release.
You may find a very high IV Larvitar in a week when you've already purifed and powered up a purifed one.
Be patient and don't spend anything until you really need it for the moment.
