It doesn't matter where it's accessible from. The hard rule, full stop, is anything on school grounds is ineligible. Some people will try and "lawyer" to say that the grounds in front of a school are eligible but that's not really the intent, that area should still be rejected.

Interesting that you still have the test as an option. Like pokehero said, the test should be gone now with the new UI, but there are a various of people still reporting that they have to take the test.

FYI: It is better to not view as a "Pokestop test". It is the Wayfarer test and what you are submitting are Wayspots that can potentially appear in any Niantic game, so there will be times you might submit something that would not be able to appear in Pokemon Go due to the inclusion rules in the game.

Your best bet to get through the test is to reread the criteria. Personally, I remembered the test was super easy, but I took it four years ago.

Appeals are finally caught up, and you can typically get an appeal decision in 2-5 days.

The appeal system used to have a giant backlog. They finally buckled down last summer and started to invest a lot more time into appeals & now it is very quick.

They are better cleared now, due to their internal push to resolve old nominations in house, the massive success of the past three Wayfarer Challenges, and the use of Machine Learning to reject "bad" nominations.

The problem with Wayfarer have definitely been there are way more submitters than actual reviewers. They got things to a very good spot right now imo.

I am no pro or anything like that, but I would say maybe! I know we got some pokéstops very close to the beach, we got like a stop of the sign to the beach (so you might also wanna try that if you're trying eithet way).

We also got a playground next to the beach, which is also a pokéstop. If there is any playground close to the beach, then you might wanna try to put one there. I've noticed that many playgrounds becomes pokémon stops.

But maybe just the beach also could be excepted, we don't have many beaches where I live so it's hard for me to say. (Like we only got some few beaches).

The world is a sphere, in a way of helping to create a useful map, google has devided the world in squares ⬜, S2 cells are basically a Square of a size (let's say 1km²) When you submit anything on wayfarer, you're not submitting it on PoGo, but rather on Niantic's Points of Interest system, this system is used by niantics in ALL of it's games, not only Pokemon go. So when something gets accepted, but doesn't show up on Pokemon go, this means: The point of interest MET THE CRITERIA to become a POINT OF INTEREST, however Pokemon go have a RULE in which if ONE point of interest is ALREADY on a S2 cells, when another gets accepted, IT WON'T SHOW UP IN POKEMON GO.

Intelec, how can I make sure everything I submit will turn into a PokeStop then? By using the app "IITC" you will be able to see the S2 cells and ALL POINTS OF INTEREST that already got accepted, if there's more than one, this means just one of them will be on Pokemon go

Technically using any apps or means of "manipulating the game" is against Niantic rules, but everyone uses it and doesn't get bans so make that as you wish

The only exceptions are SPONSORED POKESTOPS, those PokeStops CAN and WILL show up on Pokemon Go, even if a S2 cell is already occupied

Guys can anybody please tell me why I don’t see like two poke stops and 1 gym near me but I see 1 gym that is far away in the IITC-mobile I did all the steps that poke daxi said, I’m using an iPhone if that’s causing any problems I dunno please help I’m level 35 right now and in a kinda rural area I want to build more poke stops for my upcoming poke-community

I noticed a location near me has an innacurate pokestop. It has the name of a diner that used to be there but closed down, and now has a new diner occupying the same place. Still an amazing gaming location where you can rent a table for boardgames and get delicious food/drinks so I suggested an edit to name/photo, the description was still 100% accurate as a 'local game board fanatic diner where people can gather for delicious food, drinks, and company'

But it got rejected

Any ideas as to why?

When you propose a stop - it's a proposal to wayfarer, not Pokémon Go specifically. So other niatic games like Ingress, Pikmin Bloom etc - use the same Wayfarer stops. As such, your stop may show in any combination of these games, or just one - and it may not be Pokémon go. I've had the same issue if it's any consolation.

before, even when i used an upgrade it used to take at least 2-3 days and like 2+ weeks without an upgrade

after a long time (aprox 11 months) i decided to submit a new nomination,

i didn't even use an upgrade for it, but it got accepted in less than 20 hrs

I live in a semi rural community that is governed by a homeowners association. Currently there are 5 gyms and 9 Pokestops (I nominated 2) for a community of 3500 people over 7 square miles (about 2 km distance apart from each other). The only thing left to nominate are small utility buildings and collective mailboxes that are not on anyone’s private property. I tried to nominate a utility building and it was incorrectly rejected for the stated reasons: private property and on a farm (there are no farms for 10 miles). Does Wayfarer take into account the scarcity of waypoints in an area (proportional to population)?
