Mewtwo is a Pokémon that was created by genetic manipulation. However, even though the scientific power of humans created this Pokémon's body, they failed to endow Mewtwo with a compassionate heart. Its DNA is almost the same as Mew's. However, its size and disposition are vastly different.
While it is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon, Mewtwo can Mega Evolve into two different forms: Mega Mewtwo X using Mewtwonite X and Mega Mewtwo Y using Mewtwonite Y.
