As long as you have caught it once, or at least have it registered as you've owned it in your dex, you have a chance to get a critical throw. My preference, since I have most of the mons already in my living dex, I used quick balls to get all the mons I need for the dex for the game, but used Premier balls for the ones I needed.

I’m a bit disappointed myself with most of the evolutions because they weren’t that good in my opinion

Dudunsparce was just embarrassing because everyone was expecting a dragon

I like the mouse duo evolving. Just doesn't even tell you when it happens.

i used to do competitive so this sort of stuff kinda comes natural to me

i remember building a competitive garchomp a few years back but i have no idea if the old move set still holds up

with how they took off a lot of moves for a lot of pokémon (i.e. karate chop from the machop line)
