You could upgrade the IVs later. Some specific event for it that comes around.

Keep it as shadow for PVP viability. I believe PVPoke rates Shadow Scizor higher.

I don't personally actively gun for the lower IVs as my approach to GBL is usually a bit casual for mainly just resources.

That said, a low attack IV lets you push the CP up more and only lose slight attack for a chunky boost in defense and HP, cos CP's calculation is heavily weighted to attack IIRC? Someone correct me if I'm wrong on any of that.

Attack influences cp the most. in capped leagues like GL and UL, you want low atk and high defensive stats so that you can power up your pokemon more before hitting the limit. a 0/15/15 would end up higher level than a 15/15/15, thus having more bulk so it can give and take hits better.

the only difference is if a pokemon maxes out beneath the limit like umbreon for example maxing at around 2400 as a hundo level 50. for UL you'd want a hundo umbreon, while for GL you'd still want the 0/15/15. for master league you always want a hundo or close to it.

Basically all about optimizing stats before the CP limit!

This medicham for example is perfect for great league as after maxing to lvl 50 it has the closest to 1500 of all medicham ivs while optimising for hp and defence (in this case medicham isnt that strong so lower attack just means it cant reach the cp limit)
