@sturdy spruce I saw you needed help understanding how to raid. Itād be easier to chat about it here.
In a general sense, you can find Raids nearby when pressing the nearby function in the bottom right corner and tapping the Raid section. Raids always appear in gyms. The level/difficulty of the Raid will be determined by the number of symbols near the Egg in this section or by its color. Level 1 Raids, which are the most common and easiest to defeat, have pink-colored Eggs appearing over Raids. Level 3 Raids have yellow Eggs while Level 5 Raids have purple Eggs with white stripes. Mega Eggs are beige and red in color and pop up as often as Level 5 Raids.
You need a pass to raid, in order to raid with this server, youāll need remote raid passes in particular. Those allow for trainers to enter any Raid even if they are in a different country. You can check out this guide for details on joining battles near you: https://niantic.helpshift.com/hc/en/6-pokemon-go/faq/2187-what-are-raid-battles/
If you want to raid with the server, I suggest reading over #how-to-remote-raid before jumping into it so you have the best chance at success. You can tag a moderator for help at any time!

Hosting a Large Lobby```
This is a brief explanation on adding more people to a raid. This guide assumes you have a firm grasp of hosting with PokeNav raid commands.
ā¢ Start a party with the `mm` command: `$r [pokemon name] mm:10`
*The `mm` command modifies a default 5-person party to the selected size, e.g., `mm:10` will create a 10 person raid, the host + 9 others.*
The following steps must be done quickly, within **120 seconds**, before the raid starts:
ā¢ When your party is ready, use `$go` to let them know to be in-game.
ā¢ Enter the raid lobby and invite the first 5.
ā¢ Exit the raid lobby to the world map 30 seconds after you sent the first 5 invites. **Make sure there is at least 1 person in the raid lobby when you exit!**
ā¢ Rejoin the raid lobby and invite the remaining people.
ā¢ Enjoy your raid!

If you used the name trick once, you canāt use it again, so you will have to make it your buddy and walk 10 km and evolve at night like Jerry said. Make sure tho that the umbreon evolution option pops up in āevolveā before doing it, otherwise you wonāt get it.

Read #how-to-remote-raid. There is a difference between hosting and joining a raid. In your case you are joining a raid which means you need to add the host in game and type 'ready' when your done. After that the host will invite you to the raid.

You can do it remote but instead of mm:11 you need to use mm:10 because only 10 people are allowed to join a raid remotely in game.

<@&770285540503191613> Just want to leave some feedback. I appreciate the hard work the mods have to do on this server. There are so many trolls every time a new raid cycle begins. I would recommend muting trolls for longer periods of time. 24 hrs is nothing and is really no deterrent. It makes your job near impossible. Please consider longer penalties. The fact that so many raids don't fire really hurts this server and makes it a miserable experience for everyone. I'm sure it makes the mods want to quit also. Again, thanks for all your efforts

This is a brief explanation on adding more people to a raid. This guide assumes you have a firm grasp of hosting with PokeNav raid commands.
ā¢ Start a party with the `mm` command: `$r [pokemon name] mm:10`
*The `mm` command modifies a default 5-person party to the selected size, e.g., `mm:10` will create a 10 person raid, the host + 9 others.*
The following steps must be done quickly, within **120 seconds**, before the raid starts:
ā¢ When your party is ready, use `$go` to let them know to be in-game.
ā¢ Enter the raid lobby and invite the first 5.
ā¢ Exit the raid lobby to the world map 30 seconds after you sent the first 5 invites. **Make sure there is at least 1 person in the raid lobby when you exit!**
ā¢ Rejoin the raid lobby and invite the remaining people.

Trolling and inadequate hosts have been a big problem, especially with the latest Landorus raids. For example, in 24 hours, 4/5 raid parties I've ended up in have been troll groups or a complete waste of time.
Having to spend another 3-4 hours waiting to get into another raid party just feels like myself and others in those situations are being continually cheated out of a chance at a succesful raid, or getting into a raid at all.

Hello, yes we are aware there are some issues, especially immediately after release, not sure i agree that 4/5 raids today have failed, but we totally understand the issue, and we do what we can.
On the first day release, you get a mixture of very few actual trolls, then people who think they are asking for raids (rather than hosting them). When we were a lot smaller, we did have roles and manual processes to assist in ensuring only verified people were hosting, however, this became totally unmanageable over time.
Tomorrow is raid hour, and we usually have the opposite problem, everyone wants to host, but lobbies not filling (might be different this week as this is the first good boss for a while, and there is only one raid hour).
We have considered only letting people with a certain number of raids host, but again this is unmanageable as the bots do not currently support it and there is too much data to process manually.
It is constantly on our minds, and we do think about how we can improve š
