@brazen lake Hi there, welcome to the server! We noticed you opened a raid lobby but didn’t intend on hosting. Do you need help understanding how the server works?

Sure! It can be very confusing. Here’s what you should do:

To Join a Raid

• Click the red ticket on the entry you want to join (🧧). This will put you in a lottery. If you get into the raid, a lobby will open up and it will ping you.
• Once inside, you use the $htc command to get the hosts trainer code and add them in-game.
• After that, type Ready in the channel to check in.
• Once everyone is checked in, the host will send out invites to the raid.

To Host

• Type the raid boss near you, e.g., $r heatran in the correct raid channel - this will open a raid lobby.
• Once in the raid lobby, wait until everyone has sent you a friend request and checked in.
• Add the players back in-game and type $go in the lobby to let your team know you are about to send invites.
• Invite the list of people from Discord, you can get their names by using the $mi command and paste in your friends list to get them quickly.

Hosting can be a bit scary at first, but once you get used to it, it's not so bad! You can review #how-to-remote-raid for a video on how to host and more raid commands at your disposal. Of course, you can always ping staff for assistance!

@solemn patrol If your raids dont succeed, you can retry so nobody loses their raid passes. You do this by saying $reset and wait for everybody to say ready again.

No, creating more raid channels would make the cooldown issues worse. The bot can only handle so many requests per minute. The slowmode is to prevent people from reposting too often. I believe the limit is 12 or 14 raids per minute.

I’ve noticed when creating 11 person raids that not all player trainer names get added to the list after using the $mi command.

Is there another command to retrieve all players regardless of status?

Yes, you have to click the red tickets on the respective channels depending what pokemon you are trying to raid. Then you will be part of a pool and the participants will be selected by a random draw. If you are selected, you will be tagged on a new channel that will open. There you use $htc and copy the hosts trainer code. Once you send the friend request type $ready on the channel and the host will add yoi back and let you guys know (by using $go) that they are sending the raid invite.

Anyhow, @slow bobcat please read again #how-to-remote-raid all the details are there. Make sure to interiorize what you read tho. It is simple and easy

Hey @covert cedar, please make sure that when you are inviting people that you ONLY invite from the raid lobby you created. You cannot just invite randoms to fill in the hole and neglect the members that wanted to actually do the raid. Make sure that you communicate as well. Members and I have been pinging you but no response. Review #how-to-remote-raid to avoid further consequences.
