Hey all, new to the channel. Quick Q: once I have clicked the red door/rectangular icon to join a posted raid, how do I know if I’m in that raid… i.e. me and 190 other people have also reacted, how do I know I should add the host (so they don’t get flooded with random friend requests)

But essentially the bot will randomly take X amount of players that reacted to that post and invite them into a new channel for that particular raid. So if you don't see a new channel, then you weren't randomly selected.
That new channel will have details about adding host, etc.

if you don’t see it it is probably because you were not picked to participate. Remember, that to entry a raid lobby you will be selected from a random draw. If you are to participate Then you will be able to see the new lobby as it will ping you there.

When you join a raid, there's a QR code you can scan, or you can type $htc to list a copyable trainer code to add.

- At 18:00 CEST, the entirety of Central Europe will start posting raids. Yesterday it was super hectic, and the bot opened 1 of every 20 raids or so, because there was only 1 channel open per bird. I would suggest opening more channels so more people could host and join raids for tomorrow and on monday

That's okay! It can be very confusing at first.
To Join a Raid
- Click the red ticket on the entry you want to join (🧧). This will put you in a lottery. If you get into the raid, a lobby will open up and it will ping you.
- Once inside, you use the
$htccommand to get the hosts trainer code and add them in-game. - After that, type
Readyin the channel to check in. - Once everyone is checked in, the host will send out invites to the raid.
To Host
- Type the raid boss near you, e.g.,
$r heatranin the correct raid channel - this will open a raid lobby. - Once in the raid lobby, wait until everyone has sent you a friend request and checked in.
- Add the players back in-game and type
$goin the lobby to let your team know you are about to send invites. - Invite the list of people from Discord, you can get their names by using the
$micommand and paste in your friends list to get them quickly.
Hosting can be a bit scary at first, but once you get used to it, it's not so bad! You can review #how-to-remote-raid for a video on how to host and more raid commands at your disposal. Of course, you can always ping staff for assistance!

It depends on how you want to play. Personally, I like to make sure I have every Pokémon. Others save up coins and raid the Pokémon they really like. Others raid until they get a shiny or a hundo.
