Some people don’t know how to do a second round of invites or don’t want to do it because it’s added difficulty and it sucks when you mess it up on accident.

• it’s a random draw; you might not get in. Keep watching and waiting. Push red button on the next raid.
• wait until you get a ping
• a new channel is made for you and your raid party
• when you get into new channel, type $htc
• copy the trainer code that the bot gives you. It’s the hosts friend code.
• open Pokémon go, add the host as a friend using their code
• go back to discord and just type “ready”
• everyone should be getting ready at this time. Once they are, host will send invite in Pokémongo.
• be patient and wait on pokemongo for the invite to come

People participating in a raid are selected randomly, and there are lot of people who are trying, so the odds are kinda low and you just have to keep trying until you get lucky.

Exactly. IVs affect the CP and stats of your pokemon which is mainly used for pvp. But other than that, XS, XL is just for flavor and serves no purpose

There is a limit of 10 people joining any raid with a remote pass. When hosting you need to be mindful. If you, as a host, are also planning on joining with a remote pass the maximum should be 10 (or mm:10) if you are joining with a regular pass then you can do 11 (or mm:11)

Like D3ath said, quite popular raids right now so it's hard to get in. The bot randomly picks the players who reacted, and you'll know when you get in with a new channel opening and a notification from the bot 🙂

If you dont know how to properly invite everyone in the lobby please check the #how-to-remote-raid for more information and to avoid this mistake in the future. I was told you invited players into the lobby, that failed due to most leaving last second leaving a few inside to lose their raid passes. Please communicate in the future if you are dropping out.

For example, player x has been in a Mesprit raid 3x today, player z has been in none despite selecting multiple times. Does the system give greater to priority to those who have not been selected?

Not that Im aware of, but I would be wrong. My understanding of the bot is that it simply randomizes the players out of all reactions with no regards to any prior raids.

Might be a good suggestion to modify the bot with for fairness.

I’m all for multiple attempts, just maybe tweak the algorithm to recognize ones the bot has selected within a set time period to give them lower chance of selection for a specified amount of time. Still keep the randomness aspect though.

I believe the biggest problem right now is that the bot can only handle certain amount of raids and commands at the same time. Having to calculate every player who react and their previous daily raiding record would require alot more time and effort, slowing it down. Right now it's already on it's breaking point during raid hours, having up to 50 active raids per raid channel and several players waiting to create rooms as well. And yes, if it's a raid that doesn't happen, staff would have to manually change people's daily raid numbers.

Read #how-to-remote-raid to learn the basics. Once you get selected, you will get into a new channel and notified. Then you will be given the trainer code of the host and expected to add him as friends, then finally type ready in the channel and lastly wait for an invite 🙂
