Hello! I just tried to host my first raid, and it was a disaster. Everyone said they were ready but I didn’t receive all 5 friend requests. Is that common, and what should I try next time?

I think I hosted about 50 raids on this server. I never had an issue where I haven't received friend requests/got false readys

it's a difficult situation, especially if not everyone is talking. I would try to find the people who didn't actually add me. ask around in chat or maybe everyone used the same pogo name as in discord
ask those who haven't sent a friend request if they may have mistyped. wait a bit so they have a chance to read your message and write back. if they are silent, I would $kick @ them
you might want to write $more afterwards to fill in the empty space

I am aware that this is not a general solution, especially if you host a silent lobby (even when no one speaks but everyone participates)

maybe someone had a better idea : )

I had times where I didn't receive a friend request but those people were also silent in chat and never readied up or anything... even after @ them

you can only collext 6 compenents. it creates a radar which allows you to fight 3 different enemies, next to grunts
you might need to activate the radar (it's in your inventory bag)

first, decide on which raid you want to do
#pokenav-raidsold #825367736691195934 (they are the same) #tier-1-pokenav

you need to click on 🧧
it is random draw, not first click get to join the raid

if you get randomly accepted (takes maybe 10 secs), another channel appears

you click on the channel and add the host as friend
if you cannot find his trainer code, you can write $htc (host trainer code). this command gives you his code. also very nice for copy and paste

after you added him, you should write 'ready' or '$ready'

now, you need to wait until the host writes $go. if he does, go back into your game and wait for the invite. the invite shows itself in an orange at the bottom right

you click on that. then you will see a gym. you decide to participate in a raid by clicking on join raid. this will cost a remote pass (blue)

you do the raid and that's it

Click on red ticket. If you got in, you get pinged in the private channel. Add host's friend code in-game, type ready, and wait for remote invite.

If you have not been verified yet, please refer to #profile-setup and type $verify. Once you are verified you are allowed to click on any of the options in the raid channels (ex: palkia-1, t1-t3 raids). You will see people posting raids frequently and all you have to do is click on the red ticket emote .Depending on how busy the specific tier you’ll be directed to a private channel in which you will have to add the host and type $ready after doing so. Hope that help :)

Depends if you are hosting or joining a host. If you host, you will have to add everyone manually on the app. Once you have everyone added you then type $go (to properly state you are ready to start the raid) and invite everyone. If you are joining a host you will have to manually add the host’s code and type $ready to let the host know that you have added him and are on stand by. Hope that helped :)

I do not have the full knowledge of how the ticket method works but from my observations we have two ways. During big events like a new legendary dropping or PoGo Fest, everyone is going to want their hands on that Pokémon. Early hosts (South Asian countries) have the opportunity to post first and hundreds of raiders will click on the ticket. People that entered will be randomly selected for the raid. However for days like this where it is calmer you will 9/10 be guaranteed a slot since it is first come first serve as observed by me.

Unfortunately catching a ditto is all based on luck. Only way is to attract Pokémon using a lures and incenses to increase your chances of catching one.

Trading dittos is definitely possible! But the issue is that the research tasks consists of you actually “catching” the Pokémon, so it would not count sadly.

That option has been discontinued but if it bothers you I would get a mod to close the channel for you. Otherwise, there really is no option for you to leave the channel.

No one really joins raids in raid haour everyone just hostes raids I assume this is to get their dialy raid pass used.
So as a suggestion for this what about a group of maybe 100 or even a thousand verified hosts are the only ones who hosts the raids with a 10 player lobby this will make it that there is much more successful raids than failed raids.
PS I just lost a raid and when I tried rehosting it no one joined

You can’t. The host has to kick you using $kick @ player or the host needs to close the raid channel at the end of a raid which is $end. The channel sits open and lags the bot otherwise (which is happening a lot today 😅)

What if the host does not respond? I was in a raid and nothing happened for 10 minutes after 6/6 were ready?

You can go to #profile-setup and use the following commands:

Please tag a moderator in that case as we’ll need to note the host went afk and we can end the channel. You can still join other raids if you’re in a lobby without having to leave. Just be careful signing up for multiple raids at once—sometimes you get into two and then you’ve got to let one party down!

That‘s what I like to avoid. How long should I wait after all are ready? 10 minutes feels very long.

There’s really no rule, it kind of goes by feel. 10 minutes is definitely too long. What I like to do is tag the host after everyone is ready. After two minutes or so with no response I’ll tag them again. If they are still unresponsive after another minute or so I’ll announce I’m looking for another party. It shouldn’t take them that long to respond to pings. At this point is when you would ping staff.

This way when a staff member gets to the channel we can see that there has been multiple attempts at reaching the host and we can take it from there. Moderators are also able to kick members out so if you want to be extra safe you could request this when you ping us.

Unfortunately, this happens more often than not. We can’t control what our members do but we can try to steer them in the right direction to provide quality raids.

For this, you can take a screenshot of the members in your party, or write down the names (discord names and the four digit code at the end helps us a ton) and message @acoustic peak with a detailed account of what happened. The moderator team will reach out to these users and make notes of what happened. If there is a pattern we can deal with that, but sometimes people just don’t understand how to remote raid and need help.

There are too many unknown variables to realistically punish someone for not participating. The only thing we can do is make notes for these users and see if there is a pattern. Sometimes people just can’t raid once they’ve signed up or don’t know what to do.

If this happens in your raid, you can take down the users name and four digit code assigned by discord, eg: Pokémom#0009, and message @acoustic peak with details of what happened. The mod team will take it from there.

Can I just say that the quality of raids went down since pogo fest. On a mm:10, 2 names werent the same as the copy paste, 2 didnt accept the invites. So on a mm:10 we were 6

if you are chosen by bot for raids you click - a new channel will open for you to liaise with host.

I did read it before trying. What happened was: after inviting the initial 5 the game wouldn't let me invite more. I was told to leave the lobby and enter again to invite the rest but it was too late when I read that instruction. :/ (there were 12 people in the raid, so I'm assuming I'd have to leave the lobby and enter again twice?)

you are only able to invite a maximum of 10 members to the remote raid, 5 at a time , ive linked a video explaining the process but can clarify

you start your lobby
invite the first 5 members
wait until a player you invited joins the lobby
leave the lobby and ignore the message saying you wont be able to rejoin
rejoin the lobby and invite the remaining players

keep in mind when doing so that you must have a sufficient amount of time left on the clock when sending the second round of invites ( a good rule of thumb is to have around 80 seconds to 60 left )

if any issues occur you may $reset to unlock the lobby and retry and $p ( insert message here) to announce to your lobby a message such as

$p hey guys im sorry please back out of the lobby i messed up ill try again

The game let me invite the same five people and I didn't realize that right away

I apologized to the people that didn't got invited, but for real I didn't expect that to happen

The already invited people are showed as fainted and can't be invited again
