People post in pretty categories, channels get created in temp categories

By having temp categories you'd even make it better UX:
One category for people posting/looking for raids
One category (in the user's eyes) for raids you're a part of

I just find it hard to believe that it's this complicated to fix or at least mitigate the issues at hand, it just sounds like little effort is the goal when every option is met with "that's not possible" or "that's too much effort than it's worth" sorry and my deepest apologies if that's not true but you gotta understand I spent hours trying to get into one raid, just one specific raid, idc about all the rest, just to have people abusing the system ruin it for people who are following the rules and I'm rather frustrated that it's come to a standstill now and I assume you guys are too.

what is with every single raid host going totally silent after we get into the raid lobby? literally every raid i've clicked on has failed to start because the host just never speaks or starts the raid

So many potential features, sad thing is the bot is some closed source thing

There's a limit of 14 raids per minute with the bot (unless they have a deal with the PokeNav people)

a host just starting a raid lobby and never communicating or even starting the raid when everyone is ready should be a reportable thing

this has happened five times in a row and it's not exactly easy to get into raids at the moment

not at the fault of the people running it, moreso at the fault of the raid host

Or the fact that most messages are just sub/unsub/people sharing codes instead of actual raids

A better design for how raids should work:

• One channel to submit raids (Only accepts the raid command, deletes every other message)
• Raid host is sent a DM saying the raid group is created, another channel displays every created raid with an emote to sub
• Group is filled, send people to the channel and have another bot handle "games"
• Raid ends (early or not) and players are asked to rate the host

People who don't/can't host just follow one (locked) channel, the load is lessened by having one bot for matchmaking, one bot for game handling etc.
