I also quit in 2017 and recently redownloaded, I think the biggest changes off the top of my head were research tasks, buddy system, raids are more prevalent, and there's a go battle league which is PvP.

Ohh, “sign-up” is before the bot has selected all the participants, “remote” is when the participants have been selected/the raid is now full.

You didn’t use the go command which sometimes confuses the other members inside the lobby cause they don’t know when to join. Next time, use the /go command so everyone knows when to join the raid lobby

The raid channels are for hosting raids. When you’re chosen for a raid a chat is created. Gen chat is not for organising raids.
If you create a raid and no one joins, you don’t waste a pass. You only lose a pass when the raid physically starts in game.
Reviewing your logs, I can see you were actually rude to our staff. Please listen to them when they explain the rules. The raid channels are for hosting. Organising raids in the chat channels is considered spamming. If you want to host a raid, host it. People will join. If they don’t then the people in chat wouldn’t have joined anyway.

Hosting a Large Lobby
This is a brief explanation on adding more people to a raid. This guide assumes you have a firm grasp of hosting with PokeNav raid commands.
• Start a party with the command: /raid [pokemon name] and select the members option in the menu
The members option modifies a default 5-person party to the selected size, e.g., members 10 in the option menu will create a 10 person raid, the host + 9 others.
- If your lobby is already created you need to use
/max-membersin your lobby to increase the size
The following steps must be done quickly, within 120 seconds, before the raid starts:
• When your party is ready, use /go to let them know to be in-game.
• Enter the raid lobby and invite the first 5.
• Exit the raid lobby to the world map 30 seconds after you sent the first 5 invites. Make sure there is at least 1 person in the raid lobby when you exit!
• Rejoin the raid lobby and invite the remaining people.
• Enjoy your raid!

Minimum 3, but 5 is ideal for good time remaining and everything. It just kinda depends
You do less damage if using a remote raid pass, so in person raiders are more powerful. So technically if you and a friend were both there in person and had super strong perfect counters, you could probably duo it barely. But generally speaking, an average team of 5 can get it done comfortably with some time leftover (which gives more mega energy)
