Buckle up. The trainer that gave me Absol has some lore. This was given to me by someone who was, what I considered to be, the biggest pogo player in my home state of Michigan. He had hundreds of hundos and even dozens of shundos. He practically lived and breathed the game, too much even. And this Absol was the very first pokemon he traded to me and was my go to Mega Absol at the time. However, almost a year, his account was stolen by a hacker. His account from pogo’s first day back in July 2016, nearly a decade’s worth of pokemon collected. All gone and there’s no signs that he will ever get it back, especially with the game’s updated ToS. So, to honor his lost account, I have embarked on a quest to best buddy each Pokemon he has traded to me to honor his lost account.

Just got back from Go Fest. The highlight was definitely the G-Max raid with over 400 people. Cinderace got destroyed lol. There was only one G-max raid in the park but I was able to do two more on the trip back while waiting for the train. I dropped a star piece and used a lucky egg plus paid the 200 coins for the maximum bonus. I had rotten shiny luck, though. I caught 331 pokemon and only got 4 shinnies, including 2 Zamazentas with their increased odds. I have 43 Zacian and no shinnies and no hundos. 😢 . I did get more than enough candy to max out my hundo Zamazenta and I even leveled up twice so he got even stronger.
