Trust me for what it's worth shadow salamence is one of the best shadow dragon raid attackers and will do 100 times better than some goofy purified hundo as a shadow nundo is stronger than a fake hundo (take it from someone who actually knows a bit about pogo)

I mean it’s a preference thing, good iv shadow shiny bagon is harder to obtain, and does more dps, but wouldn’t have as much defense/hp. Purified would technically perform better if you don’t have a lineup of 6 other ‘perfect’ dragon types. I mean it’s a minuscule difference, if they are willing to spend the dust and want a better looking, rarer pokemon, then by all means do that. If they want to listen to the trolls and purify it for a mega and only use it once a week, that’s on them. I might know a thing or two about this game.

Id take the shadow then, garchomp has a lot more utility than mence. You can always hold onto the bagon until TM frustration event comes back in a few months. If you have candy AND an ETM and need it for sinnoh tour, teach it a second move and make that outrage. Thats a lot though.
