Depends on what you're looking for. If you want to complete the hundo dex then totally. If you wanted to use this as a fairy type attacker you would have to be willing to use a lot of resources and even then granbull is a mid-tier fairy attacker. Personally I'd keep it as is. I think its funnier to have a level 1 snubbul that is hundo. That and the resources you'd have to use to make this thing viable would be much better used on a gardevoir or something

Yes. Fully evolved pokemon can only be shiny if they have a mega(middle evolution pokemon like marshtomp can't be shiny. Only their final evolution). That is why you can't find say a wild shiny Dragonite.

@main jackal just run some tests on pvpoke.com. As an example. A 15/15/13 shadow loses against dialga in a 2 shields situation. While a 15/14/15 shadow will win. Another example. A 15/10/10 shadow mewtwo will win against a 14/15/15 shadow mewtwo in a 0 shields situation. A regular mewtwo does less damage yes, but will recieve 20% less damage from other pokémons. A shadow is not always better. As you can see, a shadow with 2 shields up wins a lot more matchups. Like 5 of them. But without shields a regular mewtwo wins 9 more match ups.

Try to get lucky trades on pkm, that are more rare, especially if you use older pokemon - higher chance to get a shiny lucky hundo or smth (tho if you are happy with them, it fine 🙂 )

My main concern is that if this is his best dratini, he likely doesn't have the most resources for it and if he was to use all of it in this one, it would be awhile before he can create another strong one. That is assuming he can create another strong one. So I was just thinking if he just try for a better one and save resources, once he has the resources to create a good one, by the time he has gathered them all he might have come across a better one

Well yeah, esp Stardust can be a pain id you want max out (got a shadow hundo blaziken rn and it cost so much) - tho there are many com days in which you can get a lot of Candy, so if he plays daily it shouldnt be that bad (especially since it a lucky and thus it way cheaper)

Waiit, do you guys do trades with the same pkm ?- you can increase the chance of a lucky for at least one of you, if you use a older pkm, you can still trade the other one afterwards (since it aint a special trade), so maybe your pal can get some lucky ones - I did some trades with my gf while the event was up and we only got 3 lucky trades with basic pkm and one Hundo that wasnt lucky, I mean the pkm wasnt a lucky (we traded about 50 mons)- and the odds were increased

Valid. Its not at all a bad thing to power up his lucky dratini by any means. But in terms of especially lucky IV's, those stats are on the lower end. So likely if they got even one more lucky dratini it's stats would be better. What I was thinking is if they just wait and collect all the resources before powering up. Chances are they might have gotten lucky and found a better one in the meantime. Rather than putting all resources into it right now and not being able to max it. Then as they slowly power it up they find a better one but have no resources for it

Yh you are right bout that one, I also could expect that there will be another com day soon with more pkm, so the odds are high, that they might even find a shiny that they could trade to get a lucky one - but I think dratini is kinda rare and I am not sure how long we got such wild pkm, so it might take a while until they can do those trades again
