Shadow Regirock is only better in ML and even then it is pretty low anyways. And I'd say shadow regirock is harder to obtain because unless you've saved super rocket radars, you can only get 1 at a time when it is out. Meaning it is more rare to encounter. While if regirock is in raids you can literally get 1 every day for free while it is out. Meaning you can at least get 7 once it is re-released in raids.

I would say matchup wise, shadow regirock is not ideal for pvp. However I guess you're right the last Regirock I caught in raids was last year. They also did give a free one to everyone basically in February of this year but ya it probably won't be back in raids for a bit.

Ya very true. Two things that are good to note.

1. PvP IV's are super cool and fun to hunt for. But they're definitely not the most important thing when it comes to PvP. Unless you are a hardcore like top PvP player, IV's aren't that important generally. Not even all of the pro players have the "best" IV's

2. Not all Shadows are better than their regular counterparts. A great example is Registeel(and I suppose Regirock lol). A big part of Registeel is his tankiness and with the shadow defense cut, you actually lose that and that causes shadow Registeel to lose some of the matchups his regular counterpart would win. PvP IV's are weird. What happens is that attack is the largest factor in calculating CP for any pokemon. And with leagues like GL and UL there is a ceiling to their CP. So what can happen is that if you have a 0 attack stat pokemon. You can power it up more times than you would with a pokemon with 15 attack(max attack). So while the 15 attack mon say was level 20, the 0 attack stat pokemon could be like level 22 or something. But they're both the same cp

I would personally evolve the max attack Ursaring. That way Ursaluna can be used as a ground type attacker for you. With max attack he'll be able to max damage output during raids. I don't think Ursaluna has a lot of play in pvp so

Totally fair. I'd say some big things to note to know now.

1. Shadows are generally much better to have than purifying them. Even if it's IV's are 0*, they are still much better than a perfect at the same CP so be hestitant on purifying

2. If you're super big into PvP, generally the best IV's for GL and UL are no attack, max everything else.
