I believe that actually a 0/0/0 shadow still does more damage than the 15/15/15 non-shadow counterpart even if the non-shadow counterpart is a higher level. Granted the shadow will die a lot faster especially being at a low level but the damage output is still more important. Someone in my local discord did the math for shadow mewtwo I can send it if you'd like. He said that a level 50 maxed Mewtwo would do slightly less damage than a level 31 nundo shadow Mewtwo

Only good reasons for purifying are. If you have multiple of the shadow, if the Pokémon is bad and you can get a 4*. Or in my case mega

I personally still would've just not purified it. Once mega Mewtwo comes out you'll need to raid it and it'll still give you Mewtwos. You could've tried to get a decent one there or just trade the ones you'd get there. That would also save you 20 mewtwo candies and 20k starudst. I see. Then it is personal preference I think. Personally I would evolve the shadow growlithe. To my knowledge neither of them are super meta pokemon but I could be wrong. Also there will always be more regular growlithe spawning so eventually you'll have enough to evolve the hisuian. Also since the regular growlithe spawn more regularly its easier to get another regular growlithe but harder to get a hisuian growlithe. I also like to just keep most of my pokemon at base form so that if I ever need to evolve it I can. And if I keep it at base form I think it has more trade value because it's a base evolution. And I'd argue hisuian growlithe's trade value >> growlithe's trade value(because it is a regular spawn most times)

Mega. Especially since it's also pretty easy to get other solid rock type attackers(tyranitar, rypherior) who are just naturally really strong while Aeordactyl is a harder investment imo. So I'd rather invest in a hundo mega than just another regular attacker

This is super sick. If I were you I would personally power up tf out of this thing. Because 1) Mega Gengar is one of the strongest ghost attackers if not the strongest. So to have a super solid one is very very good 2) A 0 attack max defense/hp Gengar would actually be better for this league 3) Gengar is not good in Great League. Potentially in a random cup that they have but in Open Great League he isn't good.

I'm not sure if it's a great rock type attacker, but it is a really good poison type attacker for sure. There aren't a lot of great options for poison types but Nihilego is a great one. I would absolutely power it up and worse case, when you need it as a rock type simply use some basic tms to switch it back and forth

I personally would. Gliscor doesn't mega so the only real benefit would be the hundo but in this case I'd rather keep a strong shadow. He also ranks 15 in ultra league in his shadow form. And if anything, you could always just purify it later should you really want to. My fave advice, you can regret purifying, but you can't regret not purifying

Lmaao. Then ya I would 100% keep it a shadow. Imo if a shadow I'm going to purify doesn't go hundo I almost never purify. If it will hundo but doesn't have a mega then I generally also don't purify. The shadow forms do too much damage to lose to purifying. But also in all honesty I don't really see powering up this Gligar as a worthwhile investment. There are simply too many other powerful ground types that would be a much better investment(Garchomp, Rhyperior, Excadrill, Groudon, etc.)

The problem if you currently have a super rocket radar is that you won't get any future rocket takeover researches. AKA you won't get the researches that give you more giovanni radars as long as you currently have a giovanni radar(this was implemented when shadow regice was released). So when you used to be able to stack radars you can't do that anymore. The only way to get around this is to have no giovanni radar and for every research that comes out from here on out, you cannot pass page 1 of the research.

So if I were you, I would wait to see what the next shadow legendary is. If it's better than regirock, save your radar until that pokemon is released, get that shadow legendary, then don't pass the first page of the research.

No you won't lose the radar that is currently in your inventory. But you will have to use it either for regirock or the next legendary so that you can get the next radar that comes out

Yes this is true. What I was just making sure others knew in case they didn't was that if they held onto that radar for awhile. If there were to be new takeovers they wouldn't be able to get the new researches. So to make sure you can get all new researches(so that you can effectively stack giovanni radars) you have to make sure that you have 1) no current giovanni radars 2) make sure you don't pass the first page of the research task

I wouldn't. Although Shadow Regirock is worse than normal Regirock. It is definitely way more rare. Regirocks will eventually be back in raids. There have even been random researches where they just gave them away for free. I would just wait until normal regirock is back in raids. Also if you were to purify it would have worse IV's than like 90% of possible regular Regirock raids

I still probably would. The only thing I can really think of that would justify the elite TMS are pokemon for pvp but even then you can potentially get those through special events. While Shadow Mewtwos can never get Psystrike built into them. It also looks like you've already poured some resources into it so why not. Unless you're super into PVP and like NEED to build a swampert or something then I would TM Psystrike onto Mewtwo.

Mewtwo is also viable in ML. I use him on my team he is a nuke. Shadow Mewtwo is ranked 9th. But to make Mewtwo really viable for ML you would also have to Elite TM shadow ball onto him. Regardless Psystrike is an absolute nuke and if you don't have anything else you were thinking of using the elite tm for then I would absolutely do it. Especially since you can get more eventually for free.
