Some weapons take longer to reload (Dragunov compared to Bolt) , shooting is different with weapons as well (AK shoots 3 bullets with 1 click, AR-15 is different), and I don't think that they effect walking speed. Correct me if i'm wrong.

Or if you have an SMG, spin circles around your opponent so that they miss all their shots while you churn them into nothingness
Or just generally try to make their first shot miss so that you have time to deal lots of damage
If you also have a pump, try to be faster and act quicker than your opponent, dealing damage at every available opportunity

Thank you for your response. But, what if the person with the pump is standing next to a closed door as is often seen in-game? What is the established strategy for dealing with such an encounter?

Try fake them out by opening the door but not exposing yourself, try poke some shots out here and there and make them waste shots.
Or you can go all out and go face to face with the opponent next to the door and hope you out-pump them.
The last strategy would be to run. 🙂

I'm not 100% sure but if you change your name on whatever you logged in onto (FaceBook, Google etc) to what you want it to show on the leaderboard, log out of the account and log back in, it might work.
