1.) Check if your speaker is functioning properly, and try raising volume and turning it on and off
2). Sometimes when you fire in your top left corner you may accidentally hit the "mute sound" button, which I do far too often

@dry ore There are two levels, your main level, and your season level. You can see both of those on the main screen. Your account level is in the top left corner, and to see season level you click on the season box. The blue bar shows your progress. You only get stars when you level up in the season, I believe.
