Yeah Asia is taking a big hit. It worked well for the first two weeks after Yang fixed it up a bit, but now you actually get better ping connecting to EU if you live in Asia

why is the quality of ping fluctuating so much on asia

We've seen insane ranges of ping in countries that literally house the server/are next to it (Malaysia, Singapore) from single digit ping to 100+
This really shouldnt be happening like wtf
After the gross amount of money raised for zr development, things were actually looking better with a pretty good season (new location when aa), way better ping for the likes of OCE and ME, and more stable ping or the rest of asia

why did the ping suddenly increase so much, when it looked like there was barely any updates

Genuinely the only excuse for trash ping is if you bring out an update, the ping is crap, and you attempt to fix it a few days later
that is genuinely cool with us because you actually put updates out

To everyone experiencing problems with high ms: if you go to connection tester, and all servers have the same pattern on their graph when the lag spikes, the problem is your internet, or WiFi. If only one server is spiking, the problem is not your fault and is the servers.

Regarding OCE servers: most likely, with the EndGame team working on their new game, they will probably not have time to focus into getting a server in Oceania, so it will most likely be a while before Oceania servers become a reality
