my point is that steam players already have lots of benefits (quality of life) compared to mobile players and having a steam exclusive item on top of that may be pushing it too far

You get 20 tickets for the first event, and every single skull pinata gives you 1 more ticket.
You get tickets daily from offline in a location with omega chests, and an extra skull pinata from haunted gate every 3 days.

There is roughly 3 weeks between events, so enough time to build up 30 tickets for premium track, and if you are still short, you can buy tickets for ki crystals, and the premium track generally give back more than it would cost, giving both crystals and tickets.
