So, I was thinking about the ascii art and fanart channel, and had an idea. I would like to have an archive channel of sorts for art. My suggestion for how to implement this would be to have @kind sedge post the art things in there that have at least 10 
reactions. (I could adjust the number as the community sees fit). So this way, people could browse just purely the art projects, without discussions getting in the way. The channel would be restricted so that only the mods/admins and the bot could post in there, of course.

which is an optional part of the on boarding
if the art archive was just put together with the ascii art and fanart, it wouldn't be that confusing
because then, only people who are already interested in art will have the channel there
and yeah, like void said, it's a "look but no touch" channel, they can't talk in it
the onboarding, I feel like, is very helpful for clearing up confusion
it's not just bombarding new people with all the channels all at once, they get to decide themselve

That way. If it’s a thread, it wouldn't be as confusing to new people because they would have to find thread in the threads list, then follow it in order to be able to see it
But then, I think that way might make it too hard for people to find it, and not many people will get to enjoy the art stuff
