Whenever i beat a boss at Deadwood Canyon ☆☆☆ the player stops moving or the game freezes & can't get chest and i was forced to exit the app

I think I've seen this bug. Do you have, or have you recently had, a quest that prevented times from being recorded? You can work around the bug by finishing that quest, and then beating the Deadwood Canyon level again at the same difficulty that you did when the quest was active.
Try checking the "best times" for all tiers of Deadwood Canyon. If you happen to have two difficulties available with a best time of -- then you are seeing the same bug as me.

This would happen from unmaking the tree with the "wondrous deconstruction" quest, so the game expects dialogue from a non-existent tree
