Technically this is also true for the soul drain curse. You still get souls from bubblegum allies as well.

Also just noticed the Volt Jolt Jelly can help to kill the Phantom Worm/Blast Worm faster since it can proc on the beads and ends up causing 2 damage per turn other then one
I'm not sure if this is a feature or an exploit
