This usually happens when the server hits UDP rate limits or the conntrack table is full.
If ports were blocked, nobody would be able to join — the fact that only some players fail means the server/network is dropping packets under load. I suggest contacting support directly for this.

I highly suggest that you do a pcap on client side (from people who have the udp error) using wireshark.
When this is done, you send it to support and pletx will be able to fix 👍
