Please provide more information here (logs). If this shows up in your webbrowser, it looks like php is not even installed on your Server (webserver).

where would i check to make sure it did install because i just installed it when i moved back to apache from ngnix

Run "apt-geht update" once. Otherwise try to install the necessary php version 7.4.3 for phpmyadmin.
