To add a user to a Windows FileZilla server using the UI:
- Open FileZilla server interface and click on the "Users" tab.
- Click on the "Add" button to open the "User Properties" window.
- In the "General" tab, enter the username and password for the new user.
- In the "Shared folders" tab, select the folders that the new user should have access to.
- In the "Permissions" tab, specify the access rights for the new user.
- Click on the "OK" button to save the user.
Alternatively you can search and locate the Server.xml file (config file)
- Open the FileZilla Server.xml file in a text editor.
- Locate the section for the "Users" settings.
- Add a new user by copying and pasting an existing user's section and changing the username and password.
- Modify the new user's settings as needed, such as specifying the shared folders and permissions.
- Save the changes to the FileZilla Server.xml file.
- Restart the FileZilla server to apply the changes.
I port fowwarded the server but its not letting me connect
I have tx and added a admin how do i send them the link to login
@rotund eagle
Just provide them the link, i.e http://ip:port
we are not able to connect to our server for some reason
This can be caused by several reasons, one of them being your server taking too long to start, that way not sending a heartbeat, it could also be because you have “stop monitor” in server.cfg!
you mentioned you have a vps it might not be powerful enough to handle your scripts
There is no stop monitor in server.cfg
this is the code we are getting with the fx server
