Good afternoon,

I have been told by support that I should do a backup of my server before doing a server reinstall (TShock is not working)

If I do a server reinstall, will I lose the backups that I did using Zap-Hosting panel ?
If so, what are the best way of doing a real backup of my files so I can do a full server reinstall but continue with my world

I suggest you create a backup and download it to your pc

Or ftp to your server and download the world

Then wipe it

I have downloaded all files through FTP. Now I am still waiting for Zap-Hosting to fix my server.

After that, I hope I will be able to upload my world without any problems.

You don't need zap to do it.

Its been done twice by me. Its also been done by support

Ive played on a different version while I was waiting for support to fix it

After 4 days of exchanging tickets and waiting HOURS for answers. It is still not working

I had to ask if my backups done throught the panel would get affected when doing a reinstall

#

I decided to just take all the files through FTP and let them try to fix it... no result yet

It's like if support thought I was dumb everytime I would get an answer. Imagine waiting hours everytime just to confirm something that is obvious and logged in my logfiles...

Otherwise all customers are treated the same in regards to their issue.

It's not a question of waiting once and getting it fixed. It's a question of having to wait hours everytime just to explain the same problem again and again and again. Telling me ways of fixing it that are not working and that were tested before

Also, we expect, as customers, to receive a working product. Even more when it's advertised as INSTANT

I am a customer of zap-hosting an 99% of the time I've always had the resolution that I wanted.

What I also understood is that its coming up to christmas so they are going to be busy. Waiting for some hours is nothing to waiting for a week for some customers.
