#Immigrants should build slums if there's not enough housing

The way this game handles immigrants is... weird. You can just turn them away with zero repercussions and they... disappear.

Sure, this is supposed to be a "cozy" builder, but then I see the two planned DLCs... first deals with witch hunting and second deals with natural disasters. Not so cozy, suddenly?

So, why don't immigrants who can't find housing build their own (ie slums) since this game has automated building anyway, and why don't immigrants in this game who can't find a job find their own ways (but not just crime and black markets but as a resource for other trade jobs too)?

Now, if people don't want housing to pop up where they haven't planned for, player should have prepared for it, built a stronger foundation so to speak. 😉

I'm paraphrasing here because I can't find the original quote, but it's something like, in a truly effective system, there's always resources for when a need arises, and when resources become available there's always a need to keep them busy again.

It's a tight rope to walk on (or even write about), I know.

I mean.. the game has taken a significant turn since then. It would be interesting to see what the devs have to say about it.
