#saves not displaying despite existing/being able to be loaded from ingame menu

I was trying to share a save file (on local) and when I try to "show in file explorer" from the in game menu (right one) any of the save, nothing happen. It works as expected for the save folder, but it open an empty folder. Despite this, I'm able to load any of the saves.
It seems to have happened due to me renaming the town at some point by the same name as an existing name in my save folder. I was having two folder with the same name. I deleted the old town files which I identify using the "show in file explorer". But it seems files from my last game were intermingle between both folder, and metadata (date & hour last modified) were wrong. Now both folders are shown empty (no hidden files) but despite this I can still load saves from the in-game menu. But can't access them through file explorer.

So where are my files ? I tried saving one on the cloud, and I can find it normally. What is happening ? Sorry if this is kinda confusing I don't know how to explain it well

As you mentioned, the top save in that list is a cloud save as indicated by the little cloud icon. You can find cloud saves here:

• Steam Cloud local repository

\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\ YourSteamID \690830\remote\Foundation\Save Game```
*...Where* `YourSteamID` *is your unique Steam ID number *

**• GOG Cloud** local repository
```ini
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\Applications\51968221750131424\Storage\Shared\Files\Foundation\Save Game```
That is what I get right now, no cloud save, clicking on any "show in file explorer" (top save or right screen) is leading me to an empty folder
#
Or more accurately, on the left screen, for the top save, it open the empty file, on right screen, in any saves, it doesn't respond
#
Am I missing something ? Sorry if obvious
Interesting. Do a search on your PC for one of the saves for example "quicksave-41" Windows will find it.
It'll be interesting to see what is going on here
As mentionned, it seems to be caused by me renaming my current game by the same name as an old game, thus save going indiscriminately in both folder (og and renamed one, created after the rename) and it bugged when I deleted one of them
#
but despite it I can still play
#
I'll update you when I find it, all i can say it it's not in the cloud save location either
I need to go but it seems that it's a display bug, the folder is saying 97 files that I can't see, so my files are definitely there, but windows can't find them stareyglary
#
and yes Windows can't find them
@oak coral I tried a few cmd but can't find any fix for now. If you have any idea what's causing this. files aren't hidden.
I honestly do not have a clue 😬 Could be a conflict with the other named folder perhaps. Try moving the secondary Bro Gwened folder out of the save files folder (or just rename the folder to Bro Gwened2)
you kidding it just worked
love an accidental fix
ffs I was unsure about deleting the second one since I was guessing it was empty
#
but was kinda fearing loosing my saves
oak coral
#
there's always the recycle bin but yeah I understand your fear. Glad it worked
random veldt
#
the fact that windows wsn't finding anything was throwing me off
oak coral
#
yep, I guess Windows was just too confused... not particular suprised at that though 😅
random veldt
#
anyway thanks for the genius move
Maybe one of the folders had a space at the end of the name?
