if you're going for chibiesque style I'll only critique the most anatomically incorrect things. Arms too long as shiki said, you need to have the wrist inline with the base of the groin. Either shorten the shin or lengthen the thigh, they need to be the same length. Make the feet smaller

I was very keen on watching propels art videos on their mistakes as beginner artists

yeah, I would say the reason for my fast improvement was due to ballet since I had already developed an eye for things and had a good grasp on anatomy
