Most art teachers will have you start there along with learning basic shapes like spheres, cubes, pyramids, cylinders. Eventually you’ll have to learn to use those shapes to figure out the very basics of what makes a human figure and then you’ll go into more complicated things.

It’s possible but I think the big thing slowing you down is your refusal to rough sketch and line on top of it
rough sketches are quick but because they’re quick they help capture the feeling you want and get the picture in your mind onto a canvas

i just found out that watching on high resolution in youtube or any video online for that matter slows down your pen input latency coz the resolution is eating way more cpu thus slowing the posdt-processing in your art program O.o
