So after i do mi 2nd sketch and fix some spots i was thinking of going for like a school girl in her uniform

Usual anime school girl kit: thigh highs skirt and a shirt

But i have no clue hot to draw any of that on this body position, I'll try to find a similar reference or just try to do it on my own

they can be handy though i don't really depend on them much since the type of pose i usually draw need them to be a bit more flexible

i also remember someone use 3D model in Clip studio to make base reference

that is why i keep every screencap just incase ufufuf

the pose i want to do usually in different angle anyway

so figurine or reference just help me more than look at myself in the mirror

that and i don't have boobs to do this kind of pose reference

Being your own reference you take your own photos or viideo and then screenshot. That way you can always get the exact pose

i'm fine with chibi, the problem i have would be come up with a colorful background for it...

i usually just throw in a bed and call it a day

well the main problem usually the reference anyway

a lot of valkyr has they weapon and long hair covered they back

and Mihoyo doesn't always release this kind of character sheet

the artbook also only cover the default form and not any variant or outfit

while in-game, they hair or all the part in the back can get away..

specially Bronia with her project bunny

when doing anatomy studies, as I'm assuming you were doing from what you said, its sometimes good to trace over the image for learning purposes so that when you actually try to draw it you have a better understanding of where things go.

If you want to learn anatomy you should learn to do gesture drawings. They aren't meant to be perfect but you get a sense for how things work before you dive into more complicated things like muscle structure
