If you’re looking to improve then for anatomy I recommend starting with gesture studies. Find reference photos of real people or someone who can pose for you and practice gestures, look up a video or any other guide on how to do gestures from there learn anatomy and do your best to draw a reference 1:1. For clothing just study from photos. For colour learn colour theory and study from photos and real life. Basically if you want to improve you need to study real people/objects to learn how to stylize and draw from imagination

Going back to this tho, a good strategy for learning something specific is drawing it from memory, then photo reference, then watching a couple YouTube videos on it and doing it again from reference
When I do that I get a lot of motivation to draw more since I see almost immediate improvement

from my own very incredibly limited experience

when starting an animation i prefer to block out each major scene (do not focus on animation itself) and if theres something specific i want to remember i will just write it out on the frame. it's just a base for now so no need to worry about that xD you want make as easy as possible for YOU

AFTER you have all the major scenes you want. you can go in n try to animate best you can

U basically just separate the section you want to have the vents and tease/crimp it and brush it out, then hold the hair up and heat it up and wait for it to cool, some got 2b underneath, and then steam it into the shape you want
I'll be working on my kyuusyou wig tomorrow who has a similar little vent into spike, I can send visuals if that's an easier explanation
