I really think I shouldn't draw Honkai characters because I specialized my art for laying out more or less muscular characters

A fairly fit Kiana would look absolutely stunning to me, don't get it wrong. But Kiana isn't like that

Besides Honkai characters's facial features are difficult for me to emulate

Older characters have a smoother transition towards the jaw as their face is longer and the fat on their cheeks are less noticeable

Musculine characters as I said earlier have a more rectangular structure

This doesn't just apply to anime, you can play around with features in a more stylized art

It even applies to realism

Also these guidelines aren't accurate, for me they just serve as rough estimations asto where the facial features will go

What Im trying to make is her leaning to some table, i already did the basic proportion (aka bones and such). But idk why i cant capture it well.

well you need to understand anatomy to created sketch first

if you have a proper frame work before you draw lineart, it will make thing more balance

not much to say abt perspective since it's just straight on simple perspective. do be careful of hard surface (goggles) since lens dont seem to be in proper perspective

I think it's fine to just copy for now since you're just starting, also helps train your hand eye coordination and accuracy

seem to be because the shoulder is too straight even though she suppose to lean forward

like if we form a shape between her shoulder and chest, the body is just that

Most tutorials recommend you to use an egg shape for the ribs cuz its closer to be anatomically correct shape but I personally like the ribs being Rectangular with an upside-down "V" cut at the bottom to represent the ribcage's form

I also draw the body with a kite shape to help me with muscle placements

But this is more of an anatomy thing now so you don't need to worry about this for now

Yes, I actually recommend practicing on redoing from the start

Unless the mistake is so small

But practicing from the start whenever you do a very noticeable mistake is a great practice cuz it helps with muscle memory and your adaptability when taking on an ambitious piece with a lot of elements
