It's one of the more advanced techniques that when done right saves you a lot of time

All you need to focus is making the Values (BnW colors) right and use the program's features to tweak the image

That's why grayscaling is more on how good the program is rather than pure skill

Grayscaling in photoshop is easier to do compared to other art programs because of the editing capabilities of PS, you can tweak a lot more in PS and it has features that other programs dont

If you’re going for the movie version of the nurses then i recommend using a still as reference for the colouring if you’re going for the game version then its fine as it is since in the game their clothes are dirty but not made from skin

Completed Version but something odd. I used dot layer in Ibis paint X, The Contrast is very weird. Can someone see this paint and advise for me? (I usually not using colour, I prefer just black and white. and I didn't learned how to decide the contrast.)

no you don't need to know colour theory. Before you learn colours you have to learn values. Its looking good but you should add darker values since currently the majority of them are too similar so everything blend together
