try to do a 3 lines style like this

you usually do a more V line for the waist so it can feel really off

well just do it like you write a S

just move your wrist to get a more curvy line

try to throw a grey background in the back

I think I like maroon as a color in general, I think that it matches the purple-ish black color of the hair well, and all this colors really make her beautiful amber eyes pop out. And the design in general feels warm bc of these colors, and warm colors are definitely closer to my heart than cold ones. I think it makes the character give a calm, elegant vibe

maybe try fixing the eye color because the original has a dark red leading to a brighter color of red and yours is more a yellow/orange leading into the red. also for the skin (this one's just a personal preference), i put some intermediary colors to add more depth (idk if this is making sense)

it's also not really clear what the person is doing, if you want to improve it, try drawing with a specific idea or concept in mind

the hat also look like it just put on top of her head so it can flow away in the smallest of wind

Here's my take

The eye should follow the Big medium smol rule because of perspective

Big = the side of the perspective
Medium = space between eye to eye
Small = Other eye

When u look at it on a front view the distance from eye to eye will be "almost" equal to 1 eye
