Even the full set for Sakura’s cross with the spikes that come with the cross (during her ULT) doesn’t even come up to 1000$

thing is, i’m not experienced enough on sewing and all that, and idk where to get a wig or any of the parts i don’t 100% need to make
any suggestions on what i could do?

Short-mid length wigs you can get off Amazon and they do okay, but if you’re working with long hair or plan to do heavily styling then it’s best to buy from a specialized website for future reference. For outfits you basically just break it down into basic parts (ex: hat, dress, socks) and find sewing patterns which are similar, and then modify the patterns as needed. Or alternatively you can just buy a dress/whatever else with a similar shape and then just modify it yourself so you have a base and need to sew a lot less

It's located in one of central Riga's parks, Latvia. Apparently China gifted it to them, but the government doesn't really take care of it. It's a couple days late, but I still wanted to try to help. Advice for the socks: wear some leggings and put the socks over them. Carefully pin in place, sew together, and cut away the leggings part that stays inside the sock. This provides an easy way to prevent the socks from slipping down that no one will notice.

While I noticed the face tendency you have for your cosplays, almost looks like you have a mask on like those kigurumi cosplays…

The costume, if actually handmade, is VERY wellmade and takes away eyes from the cosplayer’s face which is a good skill.

Amazing costume, great cosplay, but I am curious about the face (really, no offense or anything), is it a lot of makeup or is there actually some masking going on (there’s often even a visible line I noticed around the edge of the face outline)

and the leds were covered with a few tape layers, i had to paint it with them in since they were glued. but now its painted and i have to rip it apart anyways to fix it so

I mean no offence, but my first cosplay experience taught me a lot.

I was deeply in love with demon slayer and liked the villain, muzan kibutsuji, so I went ahead and bought the costume.

Then the issue came with makeup, fake fingernails, fedora hat and such. Imagine being a guy who has only put on makeup 3 times in his life, twice in kindergarten for year end performance, walking into makeup shops and asking for advice, makeup types and stuff.

Then in the event itself, acting like the character, mixing around people that are also wearing certain characters outfits, just getting out of reality while you're in reality, that experience is surreal.

Once again, not trying to tell you what to do, and I mean no offence. Studying is great, don't get me wrong, and it's definitely the priority, but cosplay is a mind opening experience.
