has anyone here bought a kiana wig from amazon?

im considering making a kallen cosplay- would I be able to rebraid the wig or is it just not worth it

Depends. Usually Amazon wigs are only made to look good with styles similar to the ones they’re promoted as. Otherwise to make them look good you have to sew in wefts and other funky shit

So I’d recommend just buying a plain, long straight one and then styling off of that

Amazon also heavily overcharge, if you’re willing to put up with somewhat slower shipping I’d use aliexpress (I trust hsui wigs) and dokidoki also have a Kiana HOV or regular braided kiana wig available

I just got my mobius wig from dokidoki and came within 10 days as it was already in stock, the HOV wig is currently ready to ship but the braided kiana wig would be presale.

Doki doki you need to be careful with though, they’re just a reseller of other brands so their items do tend to have markups. Good chance you can find the same or similar wig for cheaper on aliex/ebay/taobao

As someone who’s been cosplaying for 5 years now their quality is about the same as most other shops, just more highly priced. Then again I haven’t bought from them personally so this is just what I’ve observed from pictures of the costumes n stuff

However their Honkai R versions seem to be way better than their SR genshin cosplays which its just a little obscene to me

Its so expensive I think because there’s not much demand for it, and therefore they order in smaller batches which inevitably costs more- I’d honestly recommend considering just making stuff yourself if sewing/tailoring is your thing or if it’s something interests you 😭

Though I’ll still always send people to doki for the wigs.. my mobius one is just gorgeous 🫠

Oh wow. For me i normally use a reputable taobao agent to order my costumes but lately I sort of got the hang on buying stuff for myself on taobao despite not being fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

I think what you wanna use taobao agent for the most is probably when it comes to bigger items tbh.

I've helped a friend ordered through taobao myself but then have to directly ship it to them after it got delivered to me.

you have to read the numbers/Letters, if you can't they will add a lens to make you read better. And so on 🙂

You can also make a test on your own, if you can clearly see numbers on bus, or subtitles on tv, etc you probably see very well! On the contrary if you can't read, you probably lost some degrees

I mean, if you see clearly everything with no problem you can just take the "0.00" degree :3
