ok so how the actual ship came to be popular is at first people were shipping fu hua kiana mei as a 3 way ship then some people started focusing on just fu hua and mei and then there's a fanart of mei and fu hua that blew up on twitter and it basically started a hive of meihua shippers

there is tracing and referencing. Tracing is literally passing through the other art and claiming it as your own and referencing is with the same character but with a diffirent pose, clothes or maybe hair which is drawn by you. and at you “art” the posture and so many things are same, u literally just changed the color of her shirt.
