It's honestly a comedy show and it knows that so it doesn't take itself seriously. Someone does something and he basically just is like "oh well I'll just ignore the laws of reality" and do it anyways.

Tbh In the op main character genre, misfit is leagues better than overlord. It doesn't take itself seriously and the main guy is actually a really nice guy and the opposites of a pushover, but he's just a legit nice guy that cares about other good people and just effortlessly walks over others. It's the kind of show where the drama isn't the stakes on if he'll lose, it's the drama of how comedically broken he'll ignore the laws of reality and physics to just do some unheard of crazy stuff to dominate his enemies right when they think they've won

Yips is basically a psychology thing where experienced athletes will get body spasms, muscle twitching or freezing in high pressure situations and it's legit a career ender sometimes if they can't get through it. In this anime (baseball) the MC is a pitcher that throws really tricky to hit inside balls (really really close to the batters body) and in a high pressure moment in the finale of the last tournament they cracked under the pressure and accidentally hit a batter in the head and for pretty much an entire season they couldn't pitch at all, or anything well until they learned to pitch to the outside because no matter how much they want to, their body will not throw a ball to the inside anymore so they're currently working through that
