Same thing for me, I'm used to strange, unorthodox controls, so I've had no issue adapting; Even if it's an issue for others. So I have no opinion on it in that regard

I will be honest, haven't played as much as I wish I have, but every second of exploration, wandering around, blacksmithing, lumbering, alchemy, bounty hunting ,etc, has been giving me extreme RDR2 flashbacks. This is easily going to become my new RDR2 in terms of open world sandboxing. I'm very excited with most of the decisions made.

Also an incredibly in-depth weather and water systems. Puddles dry out quicker in the sun vs the shade. What an insane level of detail. Oh and horseback riding is always a yeehaw time LanternHeavyThoughts

yeah, when istarted to expand my vocabulary, and better found the words to use in an oral setting, it killed my social and oral anxiety entirely. I found a flow my brain-clicked with, stuttering and stammering less, less "filler words", understanding the importance of empty space. People will listen to you more when you deviate from the "ums" and "ahhs", which is an anxiety response, to being concerned who you're talking to, will stop listening~

And yeah, code switching is also a necessary tool to learn, Luna's comment is an example of that. You can get stuck in one gear, when it doesn't fit the situation you're in at that moment

Yeah, in my early 20s my social anxiety was incredible. So much so, I'd even want to avoid my own friends in public by crossing the street, or going a different direction hoping they didn't see me (In the "I'm not in the mood to talk to anyone" mindset, so went out of my way to be a bad friend in the end. Not a good vice to have, and I'm glad to have moved on from that.
