Well imo what I have is not really theoretical, Basically it's my interpretation which spans the entire length of the game from 1.0-3.7 which doesn't really make any reaches as far as I see it. I think that Star Rail essentially is all one story in a way that's incredibly hard for people to catch without rewatches/the strongest memory/insane investment and that it basically asks you to have that level of investment to even undersrand what its doing as it goes along. Atleast for the time being.

i'm going to be direct with you on this one, I don't care for the simulated universe and it barely factors into what I have to say. As I've mentioned before to me stories are about what they have to say beneath the fiction that's applicable to life and their messages

To me Aeons are meaningless beyond their point to the emotional narrative/commentary

and i dont think they are supposed to be cared about by the audience as much as people tend to bloat their significance

they are figureheads giving literal form to real life philosophy and thats about the extent of their meaning to the reading of the game

and who they were/how they ascended isn't important only that the game makes the statement and lets you know they are not "gods" but were all mortal beings/objects that became "gods"

which that simple fact is a contributing piece to the narrative of star rail and the point its making and needs no further elaboration

they are esoteric abstract and treated in such a eldritch manner as nigh uninteractable beings on a different plane because they are as ethereal as the philosophy they represent which is human speculation on beliefs/morals/right and wrong/how one should live or the best way to live
