they had the right amount of clunky and slowness that made it really strategic imo, i wasnt a huge fan of the timed roll dodging that most of my fights ended up being in soulsborne games

for me the game just simply didn’t work at all which is completely fine, not everything has to catter to everyone’s liking (in-fact I would argue that this is not even possible to begin with), but… my friends really wanted me to experience it and to talk about it, but it just… didn’t work

its very human though, we are full of contradictions and like i get autotune and vocaloids are inherently different things for sure and they stem from different sources so its not a great example, but its something i think about when im talking to anime fans that (probably) like vocaloids but (probably) hate autotune.

my main issue with autotuned music is that a lot of times they lean too much into the autotune for the sound and neglect the soundtrack itself, i like a bit more melody in my song soup
