Setting local time to Asia/Tokyo reduced my total days studied & my daily average time shot up like 50 seconds. I changed back to NY, but can re-do if you want screenshots, etc.

Just found a slight benefit to it - I couldn't study new unit because I'm caught up, but saw I had like 111 reviews for tomorrow, so I changed my time zone, did some "extra" reviews, changed back & now only have 46 reviews for tomorrow. That's actually a feature I've always been hoping for, an extra "Review Now" option, to either get ahead of a lot of upcoming reviews, or just to get some extra review time if no new units available/don't want to study new unit, just get some reviews in.

Think I just found a temporary fix - didn't realize one could also select a specific time to update, so I've kept my location in NY, but changed the update time to 4pm there which is (usually) 4am here, so that seems to be working.

Traveling again (San Fran, fun!), so changed my review time back to NY 6am so it would be 3am here, but looks like it did something weird again - now says my next badge is in a day when I know it was like 30 something a few days ago. Not sure what my total days were, is there any way to investigate? Not urgent, but still weird. Either way, looking forward to next badge!

I think you've studied everyday since we launched which was on August 14th, 2020 so however many days it has been since that day should be your total days studied.
when we switch to the updated version of NS that we're working on, we should be able to get the correct number.
