Hello Sam! Would there be a possibility for whenever clash rolls around, for the word to trigger a user only message be shown which channels host clash seeing as how people keep coming and looking? Or since there are too many regions it would be hard? Just wondering if it would cause conflict. Not that it's an issue but I feel maybe for ppl to find players quicker that could be a thing? Maybe diff variations like "need one for clash" or "need 1 for clash" as well as some common phrases as well in a diff language? I know this channel is for feedback but to answer: The server is heavily populated by folks in EUW/EUNE and NA so dependent on the time impacts the activity of the server. Other smaller regions are OCE and SEA I noticed but very seldom.

Like for example right now it is 12AM Eastern Daylight Time in NA so that means the latest for the whole region is 9PM Eastern Daylight Time I believe. All of EUW is asleep as it is very very late for them OR there are few folks still awake. It is all based on timezones in here and who is majority which is the 2 aforementioned roles above. Hope this helps out a bit.

ive never had any issues with the moderation team on this server, and i still don't, but man the way you guys handled the troll in chat today was bad.

nulldrive got warned by mods like literally 10 times before getting banned. dude should've been muted after the first warn, and then banned immediately after his mute came off and he started talking shit.

the entire chat got sidelined and stuck on this guy trolling for like 30 minutes and it was consistently annoying.

ngl i muted most categories because im mostly here for grouping, and gotta say having the vc channels listed out makes it hella long for those who dont duo, or do ranked, etc.

However Scuttle's suggestion with RegEx is not only compatible with automod but fits every seen case of the spam so far. The RegEx suggested on the post Please let me know if I can help with this or what the outcome is (I'm really just interested).

To link VCs on the server, turn on Developer Mode. Settings > Advanced > Developer Mode. Then right click the VC you want to invite people in, Copy ID, and type this out <#channelid> in the LFGs.

For example, by doing [#703345868849283212](/guild/417825368062558219/channel/703345868849283212/), you will link to #703345868849283212! This works for text channels as well.

In essence you've declared that at the end of the day you're requesting Duo channels (some) be renamed to Duo Arena to draw what could be considered an arbitrary line between the two channels as you believe that "Duo" is presumed to be for SR.

Is it perhaps that you're really looking for a method to idle in channels while advertising that you're LF Duo for that mode?

I see. I do believe that the channels being non-specific in this case is best.

By not declaring a specific game mode, assuming the channels only get used for their prescribed use-case, the channel is capable of general use allowing people to Duo in any mode and allowing for greater flexibility of the channels.

As they are Duo channels, and you didn't speak to LFG methods, then you're likely arriving with your partner already and therefore fill the channel already. This renders the name specifying anything irrelevant, as anybody viewing your channel doesn't need to know what you're playing as they couldn't join if they wanted.

Going to drop a few things here regarding feedback that has been presented, there are multiple reasons for such stuff happening but I’ll outline some of the things off the top of my head.

Rant room: The channel even existing was highly contested, we’ve had so many conversations about it from having to moderate it to if we should even support it due to the nature of what it invites overall. The channel is really just a place to send messages that get nuked instantly, if you need something like that open a notepad file and delete it after it’s literally the same thing you are doing with rant room.

Emojis/Reactions:

Upon the recreation of this server we made it so reactions/emojis are lvl 25+ required, Currently it is Lvl 25+/Nitro Booster for emojis and Lvl 50+ to use reactions (Some channels have different permissions setup aka pet channel to allow reactions)

We already have mentioned why reactions are gone again, you guys legit spam the hell out of them with no regard, as for emojis it’s the exact same problem, you guys take something that is enjoyable and abuse it till we don’t have a choice hence why we gated it behind the lowest lvl requirement, if you get banned for messing with emojis or whatever you lose that perk till regain that trust by remaining in server.

As for the server emojis, WIP it’s really hard to aquire all our emojis back… we have a bunch but it’s not complete as of now

TFT related changes:

We finally removed anything TFT related (channels, roles, vc’s). It didn’t make sense to keep some tft stuff and remove others so we just removed it all.

Clash channels:

They are made already and setup, we just haven’t turned them on as of yet, it was way lower on the list of things to turn on due to it not being active currently.

Discussion channels:

Either you loved or hated them but they were a huge clutter of channels, we cut down on having positional channels for discussions and just consolidated it into one channel #⬫┆gameplay-discussion. It was just way too much going on channel wise to continue supporting 5 channels for gameplay discussions.

Levels are supposed to be a reward for being active and also a way to make sure that people have been here a while and we know they can be trusted with some of the extra things that are rewarded via the level roles. "Grinding" them is exactly what we don't want to happen because then people aren't actually necessarily being active in the server, they're just trying to get exp so that when they do say things they can do whatever. If you're active you'll get levels. If you try to just grind exp then that defeats the purpose

Is there a way that Riot Points can be implemented as a single currency for all your games? Asking as just downloaded LoR and thought 'Kinda sucks how none of the spare RP on League is on here otherwise would look at what I might want...'. Just felt it would be a cool thing that gave flexibility to how you spent money on Riot games and in a round about way kind of rewards players who play all your games. Additionally, if I have £10 worth of RP in one game, saw something worth £20 of RP in another, I might be willing to pay another £10 for it but might not be as encourage to spend the whole £20 so feel it's a win win. The reason we probably won't do colors for every champ is because that's a lot of colors and we're having trouble even choosing a proper separate color for roles that currently exist. It's difficult to make everything look unique

we ceased using champion specific roles because they heavily restricted the flexibility of the roles system

there are currently 148 champions, and we can add 250 roles to the server.

that leaves us 102 for our actual server use

of which we are using about 90 at this time

all 90-ish of those roles are "core" roles, and can't be removed

that leaves us with around 12 roles to be flexible with.

when worlds comes around, we like to do a special event where players can choose a team and get a special role and color for that team for the duration of the event. that requires 24 roles.

24 is obviously more than 12

additionally, being even near that number of roles makes it laggy to edit any of them, so we want to keep our role list small.

if i had to guess, we haven't had champion specific roles for over 9 months now.

Day 2 of trying to get some kind of roles for people who don't play ranked or just want new roles.
Runeterra Regions as roles for people to show off their love for a certain region, we already previously discussed why we cannot have champion specific roles like we used to have because the increasing size of champions, plus the need to use roles for other things, but there is currently 13 Regions for Runeterra. Which Include:
Bandle City, Bilgewater, Demacia, Freljord, Ionia, Ixtal, Noxus, Piltover, Shadow Isles, Shurmia, Targon, Void, and Zaun
I don't think 13 regions will intrude too much on roles for servers, and people have already shown they like the concept of it, so maybe we can see the execution of the idea come shortly. : D

I've seen multiple cases where people come in with concerns and instead of receiving aid they are quite literally told: "fuck off go use rant room"

It has happened so many times in general that i can't keep track

It was mostly used as an excuse prior by the obnoxious regular users of that channel to not have their discussions disturbed, not for what it was actually intended for

Concerns and complaints were seen as rants and hence they were told to use that other channel, instead of for actual rants

I think if you were to bring it back it should be a place of discussion and not just a void channel

(also the 60 second cooldown on the old rant room was downright dumb as shit, who rants and waits 60 seconds between each message???)

It was quite simply a terrible system before and if it's to be brought back it needs to be a legitimate thing

Maybe even have volunteers assist the people using that channel and not leave it open for normal users

Normal users(85% of general) are quite toxic to people who rant and don't offer anything of substance

A temporary "rant role" that allows users to post messages for a limited people of time and a "volunteer" role for people of a certain level or above would be a far better system

Since no one except Turtleboi regularly checks those channels and would rather chill in #⬫┆general

Usually more staff = more freedom to the regular users of a discord server

We don't work for Riot and simply moderate this discord. We are not apart of cyber security, though a few of us work with bots/may know some things generally speaking just from personal knowledge. None of us know about the LoL hacking scene or anything.

Also as for the memes chat absolutely not. Memes add basically nothing and are just hate-speech and/or dark humor that's inappropriate waiting to happen. I've seen memes channels come and go in so many servers because of this issue. Most large servers (Apex, Animal Crossing, R6) don't have memes channels because of this reason.

Correction: R6 does have a memes channel. It has a suicide video meme in it right now :)

Users with level 25+ on Beemo will be able to give themselves a nickname and the bot has a filter to make sure nsfw stuff doesn't sneak itself into nicknames. :)

Its pretty minor, but it helps keep track of the community numbers and lets you see the community growth on discord. theres a bot called server stats that displays numbers for people/admins/bots/ mods and stuff at the top of the lil tab on the left side where the categories are at.

Could drive more people to #⬫┆lore-discussion if they don't know about league regions and you can find people with similar regions you like just for fun.

But that's just what I think, what I actually came to the feedback for is letting users post images in #⬫┆gameplay-discussion and #⬫┆lore-discussion. Lots of chances of discussions are missed due to the fact they need pictures. Vastayan Family Line and Demon Compendium are two hot things in #⬫┆lore-discussion and in order to show the "family line" to people you got to either DM each induvial person the picture, or post it in #⬫┆skin-discussion but it has nothing to do with skins. I feel like we have seen images can work in the discussion channels with #⬫┆skin-discussion and any meme post is taken down pretty quick, so I don't think adding images to the other discussion channels will hurt much.

Those two things are what I wanted to talk about. 😄
