I wouldn't call it pedantic, just definitive. Because if you're going to have a scale about difficulty, it will relate to game impact but the relation isn't going to be direct. Like I said, it accounts for when a champ can be difficult but doesn't have as much impact as another same-difficulty champ

Because talking about a players skill in the game is not the same as a players skill on one champ. Champions are designed one way and the way you use them highlights the room. But you can make all the flashy plays you want, prove your can max a champs skill ceiling and still lose because league is more than “know your champion”
