While they arent technically drones, this is inconsistent behavior with Spare Parts which treats them as drones and upgrades them with the faster firing speed and gatling attachment. Im unsure if any other drone buffs dont work on them, but they should.

then thats a bug with gunner turrets too. If the upgrade makes drones drop dynamite, it should make drones drop dynamite. And if the Engineers turrets are drones, they should drop dynamite. Enemies can be near them even if they arent flying.

if i remember correctly spare drone parts specifies that it affects mechanical allies, not drones

The Box of Dynamite was obviously intended to be a lower rarity version of the Spare Drone Parts, they look similar, they function similar, they even both give you a free drone with similar names related in lore, its only this functionality that is inconsistent between them

On further testing, it turns out the engineers turrets DO drop dynamite, its just hard to tell because it happens so fast and they have no addition to their models
