pinging?

Is there a ping option? Since on switch we can't chat, there should be an option to ping the nearest thing you're on top of. That way we can confirm teleporter/offer items/etc

this would be useful on all platforms, though maybe it could ping to the nearest thing instead?
example: im playing drifter and i want someone to take a few of my temporary items, so i would ping it letting my friends know im giving it to them
